A map of the universe

This image, presented by scientists from the University of Portsmouth at a convention in Boston, is currently the most exact map of our universe up to a distance of 380 million light-years away from Earth. According to Space.com, the map shows all visible structures out to about 380 million light-years, which includes about 45,000 of our neighboring galaxies.

The 3-D map, constructed with the help of U.S. and Chilean telescopes, represents 10 years of research by the scientists.
