River Nile from space
In this shot snapped and posted on Twitter by Commander Douglas H. Wheelock, an astonishingly clear River Nile is seen snaking its way through Egypt.
Even though Wheelock is living in the International Space Station, which is miles above the surface of Earth, he still manages to send regular updates and photos about his space adventures on his Twitter account.
