Drumbeat for a green economyGreen for All releases video today featuring the 'New Sound' of clean energy. Tue, Aug 11 2009 at 4:19 PM EST
Staying true to its hip-hop roots, Oakland-based Green For All (formally directed by Van Jones) just put together a new video using some cool beats to raise awareness about the connection between dirty fossil fuel energy and public health.
The video contrasts the sounds of two industries — old fossil fuel power and new renewable power — mixing up the beats and some startling imagery to tell the story of the new emerging green economy, and the impacts that the fossil fuel economy has on lower income people of color.
You can send a letter to your senator in support of the clean energy bill, organize a green "block party" or donate money on the Green For All website.
