On July 8
several Greenpeace protesters scaled Mt. Rushmore and unfurled a banner urging Obama to take a stronger stance in the now passed ACES cllimate bill.
Bill Moyers interviews two of the protestors and delves into why Obama, Gore, Pelosi and other politicians have all conceded to massive compromises sheltered in the bill, leading many (even one think tank in Washington) to call it the 'Coal Preservation Act.'
It is one of the most articulate discussions on the politics of climate and energy in the United States and well worth the trip to the PBS website where you can view it.
