This idea is the most ignorant thing I have ever seen. Who's money went into the development of this insane gadget that can't possibly be put to use.

This post is the most ignorant thing I have ever seen. You act like she spent your tax money on it.

Students/Post-grads building their portfolio do things like this. They pay for it - and they don't waste anyone's money because building projects like this help them showcase their skills to potential employers.

Well-said by another commenter on the page that is linked

"And let's think green a moment - creating something plastic that must be manufactured, shipped and then, ultimately tossed into a landfill when the 'fun factor' from another plastic gimicky fad has lost it's appeal is not "shockingly radical", it's irresponsible."

Green Warrior shower curtain

Elisabeth Buecher’s eco-themed shower curtains come with a strong green message: Turn off the water … or else. Buecher designed two inflatable curtains as part of her “My Shower Curtain is a Green Warrior” project: One slowly inflates, trapping you in plastic, and “Spiky” sends out inflatable spikes if you go over the time limit. These innovative and somewhat unsettling designs are part of the project’s goal to show how water overconsumption can be countered in what Buecher describes as a “disturbing or gorgeous way.”
