I think making such a bra would be more efficient, because it will give also a good solar exposure when standing or walking... and be more fashion.

It's probably for tanning and that sort of thing, you won't be moving and you'll be exposed for the sun for a long period of time. Or something.

This doesn't sound comfortable at all. I know my mp3 and the headphones get burning hot when I'm in the sun, I wonder how the bikini is going to feel. Plus that design looks scratchy and uncomfortable.

Solar bikini

When you’re wearing a solar-powered bikini, you can spend the entire day at the beach grooving to your favorite tunes and never have to worry about your iPod battery dying. Andrew Schneider designed this swimwear with photovoltaic film panels and a USB connection as part of a student project for the Interactive Telecommunications Program at New York University. He says the male version of the solar bikini is coming soon.
