9. Honda Fit
Tiny but popular, the Honda Fit is a five-door hatchback subcompact car that was first introduced in June 2001 in Japan. (The car was not introduced in the U.S. until April 2006.) It is currently produced in Japan, Brazil, Indonesia, China and Thailand, and Honda is considering producing the Fit in North America because of the increasing strength of the Japanese yen against the U.S. dollar. Interesting factoid: It's called "Jazz" in Europe, some parts of Asia, Australia, the Middle East and Africa, but it's called "Fit" in Japan, China and the Americas.
