Like the idea of getting paid gobs of money just to lose weight? So does Jessica Simpson. 

 

The 31-year-old, currently pregnant with her first child, is reportedly in negotiations with Weight Watchers to become the new spokesperson for the brand. While some outlets have reported the deal as having been inked, others say it's still up in the air. Either way, most everyone is in agreement that the entertainer is fielding big offers; with the Weight Watchers gig worth an estimated $3 million.

 

A source for the NY Post says the company wanted Simpson to pursue a program that would see her once again regain her "Dukes of Hazzard" physique — but the star declined, saying she was only interested in losing the baby weight. 

 

According to a report by US Weekly last month, Weight Watchers wants Simpson to use its "point-counting program" to lose the pounds, much like current spokeswoman Jennifer Hudson.

 

"I'm bigger than I've ever been," she told US. "But I want to show off my bump!"

 

In a recent appearance on "The Rachel Ray Show," Simpson said she's been enjoying toasted peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. "And then, I'll put some salt on my hand like I'm taking a tequila shot and then take a bite of the sandwich."

 

Despite the cravings, the actress loves being pregnant. 

 

"I felt [the baby] move the other day for the first time and I had big crocodile tears," she said. "It was the coolest thing ever. It did a flip or something. I was like, 'There it went. It's there. It's really there.'"
