Jenny McCarthy has announced a new line of affordable green bedding for babies; adding to her collection of eco-friendly clothing launched earlier this year.

 

Called "Too Good", the line uses materials that are non-toxic, 100% recyclable, and PVC free. Included are bedding, bath textiles, cotton sheets, blankets, rugs, hampers, room decor, and newborn gift sets, with a price range of $16.99 for fitted sheets to $179 for a nine piece bedding set.

 

Much like Soleil Moon Frye and her "Little Seed" green baby store, McCarthy was inspired to start the line after coming up empty looking for similar items for her son Evan.

 

"I was psychotic about keeping my house clean, so I wanted items without harsh chemicals," she says.

 

The 38-year-old former Playboy model says she intends the "Too Good" line to fill in the gap between high-end and low-end baby bedding options. "Some expensive labels are too conservative and twee, and the cheaper stuff is a little less classy and tasteful," she adds.

 

Look for McCarthy's collection to launch sometime in late spring 2011.
