Former boxing champion Mike Tyson is taking his love of veganism and showing it off to all of West Hollywood.

In partnership with the national organization Last Chance for Animals, Tyson unveiled a new billboard featuring him kissing a dove, with the words “Vegan” and “Love Animals, Don’t Eat Them.”

“I am truly honored and grateful to be a part of this cause,” the 44-year-old said. “It’s been a while since an organization has wanted me for anything and to be a part of something that benefits people and animals in such a positive way is a blessing.”

Since he went vegan almost two years ago, the man once dubbed by promoters "as the baddest in the world" has been showing off a kinder, gentler side that many people have never seen, much less dared to believe existed.

"I have more stamina and it helps keep me in a positive state of mind," he added. "I didn't realize how weighed down I was when I ate meat. I never really felt 100 percent until I freed it from my diet. Now, I can't imagine going back to meat. I feel incredible."

In an interview with Fox’s Greta Van Susteren on Friday night, Tyson mentioned that he wished he’d been a vegan since birth.

“When you find out about the processed stuff you have been eating. I wonder why I was crazy all those years. All that garbage I was eating running around, the drugs didn’t help either,” he said.
