What if the halls of Congress were filled with asthmatic children instead of lobbyists? That is the question asked by a new advertisement from national environmentalist groups that want us to ponder what it would be like "if every polluter's lobbyist was suddenly replaced by asthmatic children."

The ad, posted to YouTube, posits that if this were the case, Congress would stop trying to "gut Clean Air Standards." The Sierra Club and National Resources Defense Council are spending seven figures to promote the ad in support of the new clean air standards from the Environmental Protection Agency.

The ads will air in 12 major cities in Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania and in Washington, D.C.
