Johns Hopkins Update -
This is an extremely good article. Everyone should read it.

AFTER YEARS OF TELLING PEOPLE CHEMOTHERAPY IS THE ONLY WAY TO TRY ('TRY', BEING THE KEY WORD) TO ELIMINATE CANCER, JOHNS HOPKINS IS FINALLY STARTING TO TELL YOU THERE IS AN ALTERNATIVE WAY .

Cancer Update from Johns Hopkins:

1. Every person has cancer cells in the body. These cancer
cells do not show up in the standard tests until they have
multiplied to a few.... More

Please, please, please. You cannot boost your immune system If you could there;d be a medication that does so! Colds and flu are caused by viruses that we come into contactnwith. You feel bad as a result of your body's response in fighting off the invaders. Clean your ears!?!?! It's a respiratory disease! Tylenol or ibuprofen for aches and pains, drink plenty of fluids to thin secretions, get better in 7-14 days. Save your money for a course in huiman physiology.

Can't boost an immune system???  You have to be kidding!  While each of the foods listed should have a place in our diet, it does not include the ONR nutrient vital to growing and repairing an immune system- healthy organic saturated fats from animals on a grass fed diet. High amounts of Vitamins A,D and E in these fats and meat from those animals repair and maintain a healthy immune system...

Thanks for the list. Would only like to note that strawberries are not in season anywhere in the US (except maybe Florida?). Those in stores today in the rest of the country are largely flown in at high environmental cost and tasteless. Perhaps this is a better recommendation in late spring/ early summer when they are available locally in many areas and taste so much better.

Eat all these foods almost every week, which is a part of whole foods lifestyle. And if you live inland where wild salmon is expensive I recommend canned American salmon.

I'm a huge proponent of using natural remedies to boost your immune system, such as:
Astragalus
Chinese Mushroom Blend
Lysine
Garlic
Elderberry!!
Probiotics!!!

I also recommend brewing a pot of homemade ginger root tea at the first sign of a cold, because it normally prevents the illness from progressing, or if you don't catch it in time, the ginger tea helps to shorten the duration of the illness. Just mince a piece of fresh ginger root the size of.... More
