Bend, Ore.

Surrounded by the lower Cascades and practically nestled within Deschutes National Forest, the region surrounding Bend is the perfect place to escape to nature. Whether you ski, whitewater raft, fish, hike or climb, Bend has it all.

Hundreds of campgrounds dot the wilderness, mountain lakes glisten with the reflection of snow-capped peaks, and the roaring Deschutes River flows through the heart of the city. Bend is also home to the Newberry National Volcanic Monument, and not far away at Smith Rock you can find world-class rock climbing.
