People, please do the research instead of blindly following sales pitches. Agave nectar is not natural, it is made "using a highly chemical process with genetically modified enzymes. They are also using caustic acids, clarifiers, filtration chemicals and so forth in the conversion of agave starches into highly refined fructose inulin that is even higher in fructose content than high fructose corn syrup".

Jamie,

Your post had me goin' for a second, but on second thought, as far as "doing your research" goes, I did, and I have included an excerpt from an article written about the subject of Agave. I read the Kind Diet and actually chatted with Alicia Silverstone on her website. (She has a little online community for vegetarians/vegans/superheroes.) But to answer Leah's it's just kind of an even healthier vegan diet. Unnatural sugars are cut out. For instance agave necter is often used as a sweetener.

The Kind Diet is an example of what we in the industry call "Product Placement." It's a push for you to buy this. Hrm.
