I hope people know that avoiding salt results in Goitre. It's an iodine deficiency. So, if you are actually avoiding artificially added salts, then it makes sense. But your natural intake of food should have iodine. Eggplant or Brinjal is known as a good source for iodine.
Seafood is great too.
Until such time that I can change all my bad eating habits it is just jaw dropping to read the sodium level in most commercial foods. I've made a vow this year to find the web address for all the foods I buy and send them an E-letter telling them the harm they are doing and asking them to Hold that Salt.
