Matt Damon is continuing his efforts to fight hunger, this time focusing on the more than 49 million Americans who struggle to put food on the table every day.

The 40-year-old actor joined other celebrities like Ben Affleck, Taye Diggs and Ana Ortiz in recording some new PSAs for the group Feeding America, the nation's leading domestic hunger-relief charity.

In his clip, Damon pretends to play a man named Steve struggling to put food on the table and wondering what his neighbors must think. He then turns off-camera to the real Steve to inquire about his performance. Steve then offers him some acting tips. Damon quips, “I have an Academy Award!”

Those looking to make a difference can send a donation to Feeding America or find a local food bank to drop off food donations or volunteer their time.

Check out the PSAs for Damon and Affleck below.

I Just Didn't Get It until a life changing Illness happened to me, causing me to lose my career of 32 yrs, Lost our home, had to be on public assistance (Food Stamps). I now get it as to how easy it is to get into such a horrible situation with what seems there is no way out. Thank you Matt and Ben, Americans in need are thankful for your efforts to raise awareness to this terrible problem Thank You.
