Brad Pitt's zombie movie: First look!

While we were given a bit of spy footage last year of "World War Z," the big-budget zombie flick starring Brad Pitt, the curtain has finally been pulled back on some of the finished product.

Well, kind of. You'll actually have to wait a few more days for what appears to be a teaser trailer, but "Entertainment Tonight" is giving fans of the genre an early sneak peek.

For those not familiar with the film, "World War Z" follows United Nations' employee Gerry Lane (Pitt), who traverses the world "in a race against time to stop the zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself."

This synopsis is a huge departure from the book of the same name by author Max Brooks, which took place in a world attempting to recover from the zombie wars.

Anyways, as we saw during filming in Glasgow, these are not the slow and clumsy zombies as featured in "The Walking Dead" or "Zombieland." These undead are fast — really fast. And this new trailer shows just how terrible they can be in groups, seemingly scaling walls by just throwing themselves on top of one another.

We'll hopefully get the full, non-"ET" narrated version on Nov. 8. For now, check out the preview below:
