Predator of the skies?

A massive handmade kite shaped like a shark is carried across dried up rice paddies on July 26 before being launched into the sky at the international Bali Kite Festival in Denpasar, Bali.

The traditional Indonesian religious event, which takes place during the region's dry season, is organized to appeal to the Hindu deities who create bountiful harvests.
