added a GoPro
video camera to a flying drone
quadcopter and struck out to film surfers riding the famous Pipeline wave off the shore of O’ahu, Hawaii. The results are stunning.
Pipeline is the deadliest wave break in the world and is characterized by large tube waves that run over a razor sharp corral reef. The break catches long-traveled ocean swells and transforms them into world-class monster waves.
We live in an amazing world.
