When Brent Ridge, then VP of Healthy Living at Martha Stewart Omnimedia, showed his famous boss some pictures of a farm in upstate N.Y. that he and his partner Josh Kilmer-Purcell were considering buying, her first words were "Buy it."
Brent and Josh went on to purchase the property and just wrapped Season 1 of their reality series, "The Fabulous Beekman Boys" on Planet Green, which documents their new country living.
"I think she's been secretly jealous ever since," Brent added about Martha. "But she's been a great mentor."
The two are the latest guests to appear on Michael DuDell's new radio show "Live A Damn!
" discussing everything from the stresses of juggling their city and country lives, life lessons learned on the farm, and what fans can expect from the recently announced Season 2 for the show.
