Planet Green tasted ratings success with the first season of "The Fabulous Beekman Boys" — and with a newly announced "Beekman Holiday Special", it's evident that they're eager for the magic to continue.

Of course, this isn't surprising for a network that's been struggling for a defining hit. Laura Michalchyshyn, Planet Green's president and general manager, described the show as "a cornerstone franchise" in announcing its renewal this past August.

So what will we get with the holiday special? Well, based on early information, we're not going to necessarily be treated to much new footage or farming fun with Josh Kilmer-Purcell and Brent Ridge. Granted, this is winter, so there wouldn't be too much happening outside anyways.

Instead, according to the site GregInHollywood, the special will offer clips from season one, some unaired scenes, some bloopers and a sneak peak at season two. It will be hosted by Kilmer-Purcell, Ridge and their more experienced agricultural comrade, “Farmer John” Hall.

Fans will also get a say in what’s described by Planet Green as a “tribute and a grateful kiss” for their love of the show by submitting moments from season one they would like re-aired. You can submit your suggestions on the Planet Green website until Oct. 23.

For those interested in the main course, the second season of "The Fabulous Beekman Boys" premieres sometime next April on the network.
