Entertainment Tonight has managed to score the first official clip from "jOBS," the biographical film based on the career of the late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs.

Director Joshua Stern turned heads last spring after announcing that Ashton Kutcher would be playing Jobs, a move that some worried was based on visual similarities alone. In an interview with US Weekly, however, Stern downplayed the critics.

"Ashton is going to blow a lot of people away," he said. "His performance was absolutely transformational. If he looked any more like Steve Jobs, I think it would just confuse a lot of people in thinking Steve Jobs never passed away. It’s that uncanny.”

“He really immersed himself," he added. "I think he has an appreciation for Steve Jobs, the likes of which I’ve never seen in any actor who’s portrayal a real, living person. Ashton is one of the most giving actors I’ve ever worked with. I was surprised by his work every day.”

"jOBS" will hit theaters on April 19, coinciding with the 37th anniversary of Jobs' co-founding of Apple Computer. Check out a clip of Ashton's preformance below:
