'Homeless' video for Timberlake wedding draws criticism
The leaked video, intended to be used as a joke during a private ceremony, is criticized for its use of homeless people as punchlines.

Timberlake Wedding Video

A tasteless eight-minute video that was presented during Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel's wedding reception in Italy last weekend is causing big headaches for the newlyweds.

The short, which was leaked online by Gawker, was produced by Los Angeles real estate agent (and Timberlake friend) Justin Huchel. It shows homeless people congratulating the new couple, apparently in an effort to make fun of their lavish ceremony. "Justin, Jessica: I haven't seen you all in a long time, my gift is in the mail," says one toothless man.

Once Huchel's lawyers learned that his video has been stolen, they attempted to persuade Gawker from publishing the video. "Mr. Huchel made a video to be used and exhibited privately at Justin Timberlake's wedding as a private joke without Mr. Timberlake's knowledge," attorney Michael J. Saltz writes. "Mr. Huchel especially has not authorized you or Gawker Media to use or exploit any portion of his copyrighted video."

So yeah, Huchel is ultimately responsible for this garbage, but unfortunately, it's blowing back on Timberlake and Biel who, as mentioned above, had nothing to do with its production. "As a response to the controversy though, it would be nice of them to make a hefty donation to L.A. shelters and foodbanks," wrote one commenter on HuffPo.

According to People, the $6.5 million wedding featured more than 100 guests, including Jimmy Fallon, Andy Samberg, Timbaland and Biel's "7th Heaven" costar Beverley Mitchell. "It's great to be married. The ceremony was beautiful, and it was so special to be surrounded by our family and friends," the couple shared in a statement.
