As decreed by President Barack Obama this past summer, the month of September is now Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, designated to "pay tribute to the families, friends, professionals and communities who lend their strength to children fighting pediatric cancer."
To celebrate the month and honor the accomplishments of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, celebrities such as Jon Hamm, Betty White, Jennifer Aniston, Jimmy Kimmel, Michael Jordan, Ellen DeGeneres, Robin Williams, Jordin Sparks and more joined forces to sing along to the Beatles' hit "Hey Jude."
"Singing an iconic song like 'Hey Jude' with an all-star cast of musicians, athletes, actors and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital patients was an incredible experience," Sparks said. "I'm so proud to support the hospital's mission and hope everyone will check out the music video on heystjude.org!"
Check out the touching video below. A $35 donation to the organization will also net you one of the T-shirts seen in the PSA. Jump here to learn more.
