Proving that it's hard for celebs to remain hidden for long - even in the remote regions of Tanzania - US Weekly shared some
of the details (and pictures) from their trip.
"That same day, the boarded a helicopter from Kilimanjaro Airport to Singita Grumeti, a private reserve in Serengeti Park," they reported. "There, the couple reportedly checked out the world famous wildlife via 4 x 4s, took a hot air balloon ride and kicked back in a luxurious lodge."
In terms of accommodations, it appears that Singita strikes the perfect balance of luxury and rural - earning Travel + Leisure magazine's prestigious "Best Hotel in the World Award" for 2011 and 2012.
"The reserve's flagship is Sasakwa, an East African ranch house on a plateau," the mag shares in a review
. "There are seven cottage residences, each with a garden and cliff-top plunge pool. Tennis courts, a spa, and a yoga center occupy guests between twice-daily game drives, where sightings include elephants, wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles."
As for rates, Biel and Timberlake ucked out on timing, as it's currently the low tourism season in Tanzania. A private villa only costs a little under $6K per day
this time of year; although it's likely that they purchased several for increased privacy.
“This is a basic human necessity that needs to be addressed now," she said at the time. "I’m proud to help any way I can in order to raise awareness toward the life-threatening clean water crisis happening not only in Africa but around the world.”
