Now that the holidays have come and gone, it's time to once again rejoin the battle-twisted survivors of AMC's "The Walking Dead." When last we left Rick and Co., their delightful prison home had been breached by the Governor and his posse, zombies were everywhere, a baby was implied as eaten, and well, ugh SO DEPRESSING.

But like any addiction, the hurt feels so good - which is why millions of fans are already eager for the second half of Season Four's premiere date on February 9th. In this latest trailer, everyone just seems miserable, under attack, and filled with self-loathing, self-doubt, anger, take your pick, etc. You'll love it!

The good news, at least according to creator Robert Kirkman, is that come spring, we're in for something of an upbeat finale.

"We started the season pretty hopeful and pretty optimistic," Kirkman told TV Guide. "We'll open our last half of the season pretty bleak and we'll move them to something a little more hopeful by the end."

I'll believe it when I see it. Check out the trailer below.
