With her incredible 14th cover for Playboy magazine, Pamela Anderson thought it would be great to have the $25K payday do some good for the world.
The passionate animal rights activist surprisingly did not go that route, deciding instead to have Playboy send the check directly to the organization Waves 4 Water -- which distributes water filters to people who don't have access to clean drinking water.
“I’ve just shot another Playboy cover that will debut in January for Hef, at his request – I adore him,” she wrote on her website. “Playboy and I decided to do this, so I could donate earnings from the shoot to Waves for Water. It’s an amazing group that supplies water filters to countries that are in need of clean drinking water. It has already made a huge difference in Indonesia, Pakistan and Haiti. I’m so honored to work with Playboy again to support this life altering cause!”
According to Hefner, the shoot will feature Anderson, 43, swimming in the Playboy Mansion pool. Expect it to hit newsstands sometime in January 2011.
