Many vegans have a love-hate relationship with PETA. Sure, the organization promotes eating less meat -- but does so by objectifying women. Most recently, PETA proudly brags that its ad showing mostly naked women rubbing themselves with veggies got banned by the Superbowl. (via The Vibe)

I think PETA does a great job. Sometimes they have to go above and beyond to get the message across.
This is nothing new for groups that fight against the injustices in this world. If you look at all the past movements that we've had in our history, you'll see all kinds of antics performed in order to get the attention needed.
We all go above and beyond for the reason that those who are responsible for the injustices go above and beyond to hide the truth so that they may continue with their despicable
.... More
acts of cruelty.
I believe in-fighting within the animal rights community needs to stop for all us to succeed.
I also feel that the animal rights, environmental conservation, and human rights communities need to work together in order reach the common goal of peace on earth (for all living beings) since we're all connected anyway (plant, animal, human = earthling - Life = Life):)
As far as the Super Bowl ad is concerned: That ad (like all ads played during sporting events) included elements that would interest the typical sports spectator. I don't know about you, but I've seen either ads with sexy women or thirst-quenching beer while watching a football game. Might as well be something that's worth-while (and healthy).
PETA does so many other great things and has made a difference in this world, regardless of what people think.
Lighten Up.
Peace:)
