After a whirlwind courtship that lasted a little more than a year, Alec Baldwin last Saturday married his yoga instructor-fiancee, Hilaria Thomas.

According to reports, the couple tied the knot at St. Patrick's Old Cathedral in New York City. Celebs in attendance included Baldwin's "30 Rock" co-star Tina Fey, director Woody Allen, Stephen Baldwin and many more.

To celebrate the occasion, PETA also decided to do a bit of good on behalf of one of their most passionate supporters. The animal rights org purchased a bull named Raja from a sugarcane farmer in India, renaming him "Baldwin Thomas."

"He will now spend the rest of his days in peace, relaxing at Animal Rahat's sanctuary in Maharashtra," a spokesman for PETA said.

PETA Senior Vice President Lisa Lange told WENN, "Alec is a strong person you don't mess with, and he's a vegetarian, as is Baldwin Thomas. The couple who have everything now have a rescued bull whose newly found happiness reflects their own."

Baldwin, who hosted PETA's 30th anniversary celebration back in 2010, has long been involved with the group on topics ranging from horse carriage cruelty to factory farm abuses.

“PETA has become a cultural force through creative campaigns that have made society reexamine its relationship with animals,” he said in 2010. “Nobody looks at fur, meat, circuses, or animal testing the way they did 30 years ago. PETA has brought us a long way, and we have a lot to celebrate.”
