Reese Witherspoon building a barn

Actress continues adding to the farm she purchased outside Los Angeles.

Animal-lover Reese Witherspoon is already nicknamed the "chicken lady" by her closest friends, so it only makes sense that she would currently be in the middle of building a barn.

On a recent episode of Chelsea Lately, the actress said, “ I’m building a barn. I think it’s cool. I really do have animal friends, I have donkeys, I have goats, I have pigs.

“I wanted the donkeys to be called Honky Tonk and Badonkadonk but the kids weren’t so into it. They didn’t know what ‘badonkadonk’ meant. So apparently I am doing some good parenting.”

Witherspoon has two kids from a previous marriage with actor Ryan Phillippe. In a 2009 interview, she said she purchased the property just outside Los Angeles because it reminded her of her childhood in Tennessee. "We have chickens and we grow cucumbers and tomatoes. I love it."
