Robin Williams' 650-acre Sonoma estate hits the market
For $35M, you can own a ridiculously large 20,000-square-foot Italianate manor squeezed between acres of sustainable vineyards, rolling hills, and unmatched privacy.

Villa Sorriso

With the exception of Dennis Quaid's gorgeous Montana retreat, Robin Williams Sonoma hilltop estate has one of the most gorgeous natural settings I've ever seen.

Spanning some 650-acres of remote Sonoma country wilderness, William's Villa Sorriso (or "Villa of Smiles,") features a 20,000-square-foot Italianate manor complete with five bedrooms, an oak-paneled library, state of the art home theater, family room, elevator, safe rooms, climate-controlled cellars for art as well as wine, and a sixty-five foot infinity-edge swimming pool.

But in this writer's opinion, it's the land that truly hold the most appeal. Reportedly purchased in parts by the 61-year-old comedian, it comes with a 7 stall horse barn, a 3,000-square-foot property manager's residence (complete with its own two-car garage and in-ground pool), and borders rural protected property, as well as Sugar Loaf Ridge State Park.

And speaking of a property manager - you're going to need one. Not only are there over 100 olive trees on the property (producing 50-100 gallons of oil annually), but there's also a magnificent 24-acre vineyard. According to the listing, the grapes are grown "sustainably", with only sulphur used, and limited spraying for the grape moth. The vines produce mover 60 tons of fruit annually - with most sold to the Robert Craig Winery.

Other highlights include a sun-tracking 36 panel solar array and a 2-acre spring-fed pond.

If you've got $35M to spare, this could certainly be the dream property you've been waiting for. If you need help moving in, by all means, please let me know.

More details on the estate are available at the official listing site here.
