It was a visit from his favorite singer that Jordan Lee Nickerson never expected — and will never forget.
The 6-year-old, who has bravely battled a variety of health issues since he was only 9 months old and was recently diagnosed with leukemia, welcomed Taylor Swift last Sunday exclaiming, "I didn't know you'd come!"
"We wanted to surprise you," Swift said. "I like to play with Play-Doh and I like to talk about Spider-Man, what about you?"
"I know you like singing songs for people," Jordan said.
Swift then told Jordan that while that was true, she was really eager to play a song just for him. As you'll see in the below video, the joy that spreads over his face is just beautiful.
Swift, 24, ended up spending the afternoon with Jordan — playing songs, games, and just hanging out. His family thanked the pop star on their "Jordan's Brave Page" for taking the time to make a difference for their son.
"Jordan is the best little boy in the world," they wrote. "He has overcome a lot in his short time and will continue to persevere."
