After teasing the world with a 10-second preview late last week, Honda has decided to take advantage of the nation's love of Ferris Bueller and release its 2012 Super Bowl ad a week early.
The two-minute commercial pays homage to nearly everything we loved about the original 1986 classic "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," including a little dance number, museum visit, and the hijinks associated with skipping work/school/etc. Naturally, the Porsche from the original has been replaced with a less-impressive Honda CR-V — but hey, this is a grown-up Ferris, so it's plausible.
The ad ends with Matthew Broderick reiterating a famous line from the movie: "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."
