Scott Wilson, a veteran actor of more than 50 films, was arrested last week in Georgia and charged with DUI.
The 70-year-old was pulled over around 2 a.m. on Aug. 18 after a 911 call was placed reporting a Chrysler PT Cruiser driving erratically. Wilson told the officer the vehicle was his sister's and he'd consumed scotch and wine while dining at Founders Restaurant & Bar in Senoia. After the officer asked Wilson to perform a field sobriety test, the actor — complaining that the roadway was "too slanted" — offered to do "some yoga poses" instead.
A breathalyzer test at the scene returned a result of 0.143, above the legal limit of 0.08.
Wilson is currently best known for this recurring character of farmer Hershel Greene on AMC's massive hit series "The Walking Dead." While the first eight episodes of season three wrapped production in early August, the remaining eight will not be completed until late November. It's currently unclear if Wilson's arrest will delay any of that — or if his character is even still alive for the second half.
Season three of "The Walking Dead" premieres on Oct. 14 on AMC.
