Since 2004, the annual campaign has been asking millions of men all around the world to grow their mustaches in support of men's health issues, in particular prostate and testicular cancer.
"For the rest of the month, these selfless and generous men, known as Mo Bros, groom, trim and wax their way into the annals of fine moustachery," reads the site. "Supported by the women in their lives, Mo Sistas, Movember Mo Bros raise funds by seeking out sponsorship for their Mo-growing efforts."
Last year's campaign raised more than $126 million for organizations like Livestrong and the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
To get everyone ready for the fun next month, "Parks and Recreation" star Nick Offerman is providing tips on growing that perfect mustache. “The bulk of you will end this month with something atrocious on your lip,” Offerman says. “The rest of you will be passable.”
In discussing his own legendary mustache, Offerman says "it took years of training. I brought it to Scotland where sheep-herders tamed its unruly ways. I then studied with Tibetan monks who combed it like a Zen garden ..." You get the idea.
