Watch: Trailers for 'After Earth' and 'Oblivion' arrive

Both films feature A-list stars and a post-apocalyptic Earth. Which one will receive your cash?

The human race may survive the Mayan apocalypse on December 21, 2012, but Hollywood is clearly gunning for our demise to bring in the dollars for 2013.

Besides the zombie-filled horror that is Brad Pitt's "World War Z," two other trailers for big budget post-apocalyptic films debuted over the weekend - with each featuring stunning vistas of an Earth devoid of humans. Check them out below:

Oblivion

Starring Tom Cruise and Morgan Freeman, this one has the "Mission Impossible" playing some kind of drone repairman on a version of Earth ravaged by alien forces. Except maybe the aliens are in cahoots with some human survivors? I have no idea, but I swear I saw Darth Vader.

After Earth

I understand if you can't forgive M. Night Shyamalan for the atrocity that was "The Last Airbender," but this trailer for "After Earth" might just make you believer again. Maybe. It stars real-life father and son team Will and Jaden Smith as the only two survivors of a space craft crash landing on Earth. An Earth 1,000 years in the future, abandoned by humanity, and reclaimed by nature. And I think they're are aliens in this one too. And Bruce Willis is really a ghost.
