Why is this crap on MNN? A total waste of time which makes MNN look more like a site for science fiction than news.
We’re not immune to zombie fever here around the MNN offices. :)
Not to worry, we’re still going to cover real news aggressively. Here’s a good listing: http://www.mnn.com/news/earth-matters.

If your panties are so prone to wadding up so badly, you should maybe choose another brand. Even the top news papers have horoscope sections and opinion pieces in them. No one forces your hand to click on these things, so any time you wasted was yours to waste. Most browsers have a cool button at the top left, an arrow or a triangle pointing to the left, which will take you back to the page you were on when you mistakenly, accidentally got to this article that you had no interest in reading.

What's wrong with a legitimate news media network taking some time to look on the light side? It's not like this is a television network with a limited time slot to fill. There's so much bullshit going on in the world that it's nice to take a break and have a laugh. I'd like to see more true happy stories in the news, but I'll settle for some lighthearted fun. Sensationalism is aggravating and often only shows us the worst side of humanity, get off your high horse and party with the rest of us.
