Katherine Reutter, short-track speed skating
The 2010 Games will be Reutter’s first, but the breakout star could win a medal in the 1500m or the 1000m. Beyond going for the gold, the speed skater practices eco-habits like shopping at the farmers market, using a reusable water bottle, recycling as much as possible and when the weather permits, riding her bike to the rink.
