The Green Hornet is a fictional crime-fighting vigilante who has been serialized in radio shows, comic books, a French short-movie and, in 2010, an action film adaptation starring actor Seth Rogen (pictured). When the character was originally developed in 1936, he was originally just called The Hornet, but the eco-sounding moniker was added for copyright reasons. Fun fact: The Green Hornet is the grand-nephew of the Lone Ranger. Seriously.
