It doesn't need to be a green-colored stuffed Valentine's bear, either. You can find cool and classy green gear at sites like BTCElements, Treehouse Green Gifts, Etsy and Patagonia. Maybe there's a local shop nearby selling something nice and green?

 

Whatever you buy should be built to last or built to compost. Just say no to cheap plastic novelty gifts that will be bound for the landfill a few months after leaving the store.
