6 world-changing filmmakers: Action

A notable filmmaker Bertram Verhaag has been left out of your list. He has made films based on issues that people are too afraid to deal with. An example of his film is "Scientists under attack", which deals with how corporate interests can interfere with the work of scientists.

If Michael Moore really wanted to do an expose, he should look at college sports. I don’t mean the premium programs like Stanford and Duke. Look at the 2nd tier schools that suck in these poor black boys, stick them with a useless major and let them go when they have played their last game or get injured. Maybe .1% will ever make a dime in the pros. How did life turn out for the others?

"Gasland" and " An Inconvenient Truth" are the only two films on this list that had any sort of impact. Still, they are far from world-changing along with the filmmakers.
