Top 10 eco-movies for kids: 'Finding Nemo'
courtesy Walt Disney Pictures

A lesser-known movie perhaps, but definitely moving - Once Upon a Forest. The best lesson from it in my view is the teaching of how though some of us may show little to no respect for the environment, many others are happy and eager to do the right thing. First 5-10 minutes of the movie demonizes humans, but the badger is beyond moved in the last 5-10 minutes to see humans taking great efforts to protect the forest/animals. A VERY valuable lesson, if you ask me. :)

I guess they never say "A Turtle's Tale". It's an animated movie that spans 50 years of a turtle's life. In it he sees how man is polluting the oceans. The movie is also known as Sammy's Adventure.

Loved Pocohantas, loved the wise tree. About the only Disney movie I liked.

Seen most of these movies. They aren't just for children. Adults can learn a few things too.
