In honor of World Oceans Day on June 8, One World One Ocean has created a delightful animated video called "The Ocean We Want to Know," set to the tune of Gotye's "Somebody That I Used to Know." It's fun, fact-filled and a great way to teach kids about protecting the oceans.
"Hurricane Hunters" takes viewers into the eye of the hurricane, literally, as members of the Air Force's 53rd Weather Reconnaissance Squadron based in Biloxi, Miss., fly planes inside storms to gather meteorological data and predict their paths in order to warn communities of impending danger. Premiering June 11, the six-part Weather Channel series follows the men who bravely risk their lives to provide this vital service.
Premiering June 10 on National Geographic Channel and Nat Geo Wild, the spectacular four-hour miniseries "Untamed Americas" explores the mountains, deserts, forests and coasts of North, Central and South America and the creatures therein. Read more about it here.
