Adrian Grenier, star of the popular HBO series "Entourage", is opening a temporary "pop-up" shop in downtown Los Angeles to highlight the work of sustainable artists — and show off a few cool green products, too.

The effort is an off-shoot of his new green website SHFT, which he co-founded in partnership with television producer Peter Glatzer. The gallery will reportedly include more than 50 pieces by Los Angeles-based artists including Jay Mark Johnson, Tierney Gearon, Lauren Bon, Rebeca Mendez, Ramon Coronado and Jay Mark Johnson. Eco-friendly products from the SHFT website will also be on sale.

The SHFT Gallery will be located at The Continental — 408 South Spring Street in the Gallery District. The official opening night party is on May 15, which will also see the launch of the second installment in Grenier's original web documentary, "Lighten Up". The series follows bands as they reduce their carbon footprint while on tour.

It's great that celebs help to introduce green and ethical products, because they can use their attitude to influence the social buying habit significantly.
