Ginnifer Goodwin wants you to adopt a turkey for Thanksgiving, not eat one

What’s not to like about Thanksgiving? There’s the football games, delicious food, fun with family and friends — and of course the commercially raised and cruelly butchered turkeys.
 
Mmmmm.
 
The U.S.’s leading farm animal protection organization, Farm Sanctuary, is hoping to change that trend this year. They’re launching their annual Adopt-A-Turkey Project to help end the misery of these mistreated turkeys, and Big Love star Ginnifer Goodwin is the celebrity spokesperson behind the public service announcement.
