For anyone who has ever wanted to dangle from a tree like a life-sized Christmas ornament, the Waldseilgarten mountain resort in Bavaria may have just what you're looking for.

Called the "Hotel of 1000 stars," the resort offers a number of packages that reimagine outdoor camping high above the forest floor. The first option is a platform about 21 feet off the ground that offers the "moon and stars, as well as a belt to protect you and stable trees to carry you in your dreams." Sure!

The second option — one tailor-made for the ropes course aficionado or Batman — features a port-a-ledge suspended from the thick branch of a massive tree. It's only accessible via rope, which could make nighttime bathroom emergencies extremely interesting. The structure can sleep two to four people and is situated in front of mountain scenery. And yes, it looks absolutely stunning.

Finally, for those who really, really want to test their love of heights, Waldseilgarten will help you set up a port-a-ledge 300-900 feet up the side of a cliff. "Naturally however, you will take only the essentials, sleeping bag, food and rope in your rucksack," the site explains. "Bear in mind that there are no toilets on cliff faces!" The horror –– but still, what a view!

The packages range in price from $140 per person for the platform to nearly $1,000 for the cliff, and they all come with a two- to three-hour ropes course to teach participants the basics in preparation for this date with the stars. Nerves of steel not included.
