Philadelphia's clever 'Uwishunu's Philly 101' video series
In less than 2 minutes a day, you'll learn 101 (no, make that 202) things about Philadelphia that the tourism company wishes you knew.

I am always impressed with the PR material that the Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Company (GPTMC) sends me and the way the company uses social media. They have some fantastic blogs like Philly Homegrown and Uwishunu that are must-reads for me since I live right outside the city.

Uwishunu has launched a video series called "Uwishunu’s Philly 101." It’s “101 short videos published in 101 days, each featuring an authentic Philadelphian letting viewers know one thing they wish more people in Philadelphia knew about.” In each video, you’re introduced to someone who works in Philadelphia — at restaurants, at stores, at museums or libraries — and that person introduces you to one thing they wish you knew about the city. I’m impressed with the short, simple and informative videos that have been released so far, including this one by Chef Guillermo Tellez, executive chef at Square 1682.

Before seeing this video, I didn’t know about Square 1682, a restaurant that focuses on local, organic, and sustainable. I’m looking forward to learning more about what’s going on at the restaurants and beyond in Philadelphia as this video series unfolds.
