Tollymore Forest Park, Northern Ireland

Yet another worthy addition to a "Game of Thrones" enthusiast's Northern Ireland itinerary, this park covers about 1,600 acres and is framed by the Mourne Mountains, which are also seen in the background of many scenes.

If a scene was set in the forest, chances are it was shot in Tollymore. Some of the park's stone bridges and pathways fit with the show's time period, so they did not have to be edited out during post-production.
