Cozy - HAHA 09/07/2010 17:49 PM

These houses look "cozy" if you don't have a family or kids with toys, teenagers that need to find a place to do HOMEWORK, etc. These are niche items not usable by the average person, only by the occasional kook that wants to make a statement or who doesn't have any money.

these homes are geared for people/families who want to live a "modest" life, rich or poor....i don't consider myself a kook.
you can keep your fine big, house, with your fine big cars,etc...

Because no families live in cities like San Francisco or London, where small living spaces are the norm. Nope, families only ever live in sprawling, sterile exurban gated subdivisions.

Just because you lack the imagination to do it, doesn't mean other "average" people can't manage it.

Tiny homes are the norm even in high priced condominiums. They have what's called studio type units where they cram living space of bedroom, bathroom, a tiny kitchen and dining area all in the space of 24 sq. m. (6 m x 4 m space). So it's definitely a workable proposition. But with such a set up, more time is spent outside the home (in malls, or in the lounge areas, gym, pool, and other amenities). You're there just to get a good night's rest. Travellers are also familliar with tiny living.... More

No. 8: Yikes! Is that a real fire, unattended, with all those dry leaves nearby?

Twelve Cubed Mini Home

According to Twelve Cubed designers, these tiny homes feature a dishwasher, microwave and modern oven combo, bathroom, closet, and plenty of natural light. The mission behind the homes is to allow more people to live more sustainably, but the cute design is a temptation in and of itself.
