Don’t go home without a …  commemorative Currywurst Museum sausage dish

Hot dogs, you can officially eat your heart out. Deutschland’s iconic take-away delicacy known as Currywurst is celebrated at its very own Berlin tourist attraction, Duetsches Currywurst Museum, where visitors can snap photos behind a tricked-out curried sausage stall, explore the olfactory wonders of the “Spice Chamber” and learn about the relationship between ecology and fast food, including how biodegradable tableware is produced. And, of course, this “culinary emblem of Germany’s capital city” believed to be first concocted by street vendor Herta Heuwer in 1949, can be sampled at the in-house Snack Lounge where customary side offerings include potato salad with bacon and brötchen (bread rolls).
